Terms of Use

1. Scope

These terms govern your use of the MyBook app provided by Lumii. By creating an account and accepting the community guidelines in the app, you agree to these terms. Apple's standard End User License Agreement (EULA) also applies.

2. Who can use MyBook

You must be at least 13 years old to use MyBook. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for activity on your account.

3. Community guidelines

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. The following are prohibited:

• Harassment, bullying, threats and hate speech
• Sexual, obscene or violent content
• Spam, advertising and scams
• Sharing other people's personal information without permission
• Illegal content or content that infringes others' rights
• Unmarked spoilers (mark messages that contain spoilers)

4. Reporting, blocking and moderation

You can report any message, user or room from within the app and block users you don't want to hear from. We review reports within 24 hours, remove content that breaks the rules and close the accounts of users who post it. Messages reported by several users are hidden automatically before review. Text containing severe profanity or slurs is blocked by an automatic filter before it is posted. For urgent matters: sezerta@gmail.com

5. Your content

Content you share (notes, messages, profile details, photo) remains yours. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to store and display it in the app, which ends when you delete your account. Only share content you have the right to share.

6. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in Profile → Delete Account. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.

7. Liability

MyBook is provided “as is”. Book details come from third-party sources (Google Books, Open Library) and may be inaccurate. Users are responsible for the content they share. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages.

8. Changes and governing law

If we update these terms we will change the date on this page and announce significant changes in the app. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye; mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence remain unaffected. Contact: sezerta@gmail.com
